Law & Fashion -The Best of Both Worlds.

Happy new month everyone and Merry Christmas in advance. Sorry I haven't been here for a while. School and Fashion Styling has gotten the best of me lately and believe me when I say its not been an easy road.
Well I think to fully understand this post, it's important to know how my fashion drive first started and what machines stirred it. (Do well to look up my previous  post on Little Dream Chasers).

Over the years, as a Law finalist, one question I've recently gotten so disinterested at answering because of how very frequently they come is ''How do you have time to juggle both fashion and your legal studies?'' Sometimes, it even gets a bit sicker when they ask me 'if  I'm really sure I was cut out for this Law thingy in the first place?', because of how they perceive me to be  fashion crazed and all that. No doubt they may not be telling a lie, Lol.

So, I've set out to publish this post in  a bid to answering these questions once and for all, and letting everyone in into the know of my life, so that at least I'd get to redirect persons to this post when they ask again, Lol.

However, notwithstanding, these dilemmatic stance between these two worlds, I've been able to arrive at this point without any hitches in either areas, by sticking to a few nuggets which I formulated over the years, and which I'd be listing in succession.
Firstly, no matter the extent of my craze for fashion, I never neglect my studies. Secondly, is the mindset that constantly reminds me that I'm first a student and then a Fashion influencer.

Again,I also plan and prioritize all my activities; engagements in school as well as my photo shoots, which is mostly why I shoot during weekends. Lastly, God has always been the plug. I could go on and on about my strategies but would be foolish to evade this one truth.

Moving on, I'm for certain that it's all been by God's grace. It's been quite tough but worth the while and seeing all my works and personal projects being appreciated by a lot of people out there, I've grown to learn to accept and enjoy them as they come. I can't also deny the fact that sometimes I'm not left with a few thoughts of uncertainty as to whether I'd engage in full time practice or not, as my proficiency in the area of fashion is steadily rising with the times.

RUDE SUMMER!!!!

On this editorial campaign shoot for @dabby_bankz_collections, I had the splurge of co-starring a few of my co-creative buddies in PH city. Here, the object was to play between splashy lucid colors and aesthetic space visuals, perfectly capturing that summer vibe.

While working on this project with these awesome talented bunch @Sabr, @Teevo,@Disciplin,Rundy Parker, StyledwithSeledi, we had a lot of wild experiences and adventures, which were very intriguing but also taught me a whole lot. The most awful one, was when my friend, Teevo (the female model in the picture),almost passed out on us due to the ''high raging sun''.  Trust me,it wasn't funny at all, as we all had to turn into ''First Aid Practitioners'' almost immediately.

Long story short, she was resuscitated and even insisted we go on with the shoot. LOL,can you imagine?!  But one thing I loved about this experience was Teevo's resilience, though questionable yet, brave and unrelenting at the same time, which is the same spirit required  to get things done.

On my part,I did learn a lot from that experience.A lot of processes are involved in creating beautiful visual contents unknown to certain non-creatives, but all the same,it goes well to explain the beauty of Fashion and Art;a process birth out of rubble.

In The Winter.....

Sounds like a movie title right? Lol, Sorry to burst your bubble guys, but its not. Who's noticed the days have become blisteringly cloudy, drizzly and wet. Yeah, that sure does go with the time of the year around here -Rainy Season(Winter). More so, is the dress sense it inspires; cardigans, sweat shirts, bumper jackets, trench coats, head warmers/gears,thick socks, hand gloves and generally, just everything thick, may come in handy.

So I decided to do a post about this season's winter, featuring my slay buddy, Pricess Onums. Seeing how colorful it's got the streets looking on a dailies and how that I'd get to do less laundry these days, save for the laundromat,is also a bit sad but then again relaxing. Of course, who doesn't like to get some days off?Lol!

I don't know if it's just me or something, but the night these days seem a bit longer, coupled with the dropplets they come with, leaving you married to your bed for a few more hours.
But on a rating scale though, I'd say I'd  prefer the winter to the summer because it allows more fashion proactivity as you can just wear anything to put up with the excuse of having a cold or having really to shield yourself  from going down with one, and not to mention, I think I also fall into that category,at least that's what everyone around me says, smh.

Thanks for stopping by,and hope you enjoyed this piece.Pls,dont forget to leave me a comment on what you also feel about the winter(Rainy season) as relates to it's fashion inspiration,at the comment section below.

Fashion Futurism.

It is no surprise that fashion continues to top imaginations and break age-long barriers in the course of time by including out of space designs and patterns in cloth making and fabrication.

BLACK MAGIC Pt.2

Hello everyone! Hope you'll doing good. Welcome to my second edition of Black Magic. On this editorial, I'd be taking out time to discuss the black color as relates to clothing and how to match them properly. I'd just like to point out a thing or two here. Black, being a very mutually inclusive color, could dabble into or with any other colored outfit.

But here's the thing,in spite of how flexible it may appear,it could also mar appearances. For example,it'd only mask the beauty of anyone who's dark skinned and trust me,you don't want to be in those shoes, Lol. However, its just the perfect whistle blower for someone who's light skinned.

So here's the thing about getting that black magic; you could mix it with any other colors, irrespective of skin color, but where you may want to wear an all black outfit, your body complexion should indeed be considered.

Same goes for most other colors too, whether maroon, burgundy, white, yellow and a countless bunch, to give you that look, like "Here I come" announcing your appearance.

How To Get Your Tux Game On.

Good evening!! Hope you'll had a wonderful day. Well, this happens to be my very first blog posts this year, which makes it quite very interesting and the very more reason why we have to start by talking about a very sensitive part of Men's Fashion -The Tux Culture.
The funny thing about this editorial is there's actually no sorted-out straight jacket rule(s) as to how one could do so but however a few seemingly basic codes that make you stand out when ever you get that Tux on. Below are a few rather suggestive nuggets on how to do this;
- Foremost, is fitting on every tuxedo with a feeling of confidence and class just like a royal even if you're not.
-Second, is wearing a proper posture too to give it that killer-carriage  that expels a sense of class and elegance. Men are required to stand with their feet shoulder length apart and their feet shoulder back with their rib cage in the center of them.

And lastly,do ensure to see that every element and pieces of your outfit matches both form and color wise.

And that's it on How To Get Your Tux Game On. Please do leave your comments at the comment section below, thanks.
